WHERE IS THE COMPANY BASED?
We are based in Accra, Ghana and ship worldwide.
How long does it take to have a dress made?
For our collection dresses it takes up to ten working days to create and depending on your location up to ten working days for shipping.
For our bespoke dresses; generally we like to have at least a month to create a bespoke gown after the initial consultation. We can make dresses with shorter time depending on our availability.
how much is a custom sarah boadu gown?

if i wanted a casual dress made is that possible, or it is special occasion and bridal only?
We can make anything! Our main focus is the custom bridal and special occasion wear but we do also make casual dresses and other garments for clients too. Contact us directly for more information and a quote.
I won’t be able to attend fittings, can I still have a bespoke dress made to my measurements?
Absolutely! We have a number of international clients. We use an extensive measurement guide to ensure your measurements are accurate and your dress will fit like a glove, whether you are able to attend fittings or not!
how will i receive my dress if i can not come to you?
We will ship it to you! For most locations we use DHL to ship our gowns as they are one of the topmost trusted International Shipping companies worldwide.
I really struggle to find dresses that fit well in stores, how can I be sure a Sarah Boadu dress will fit?
We don’t believe in store sizes, Sarah Boadu actually started sewing her own clothes because of the frustration of not being a “standard” size. Research shows that 9 in 10 women do not enjoy shopping on the high street because they do not fit the standard high street stores. For every order we take the clients personal measurements, if it is a Sarah Boadu piece it absolutely must fit immaculately. Sizes 8, 10, 12 etc just won’t cut it here. Every SB client is size unique!
can i make a slight change to one of the collection pieces?
Yes this is possible. We give you the option to have a semi-custom gown from our collection tailored to your preference; you can add a strap to a strapless gown, make a dress backless or any other customisation; as long as it is aesthetically possible, we will create it for you.
